Or Chadash is a class/program designed for those seeking
conversion to Judaism. Following the Oregon Board of Rabbis Intro to Judaism class students will
meet as a small group for 6-8 sessions taught by Rabbi Greenstein and guests.
Participants of Or Chadash will have the oppurtunity to attend a series of
conversion support groups and meet one-on-one regularly with Rabbi Greenstein to
explore their intellectual, emotional, and spiritual engagement with Judaism.
To register once you are nearing the end of the Oregon Board of

Join us every Shabbat morning in the library for a time of study and discussion on the parasha of the week. Led by Rabbi Daniel Isaak or Rabbi Bradley Greenstein.

Who/What really is God? Together we will explore the Jewish portrayal of God within different streams of Jewish thought. We will dive into texts that reveal:
• God in Kabbalah
• God in the Hebrew Bible,
• God in the Talmud
• God in Medieval Jewish Philosophy
• God in Midrash (rabbinic parable)
• God in Halakah (evolving Jewish law)
• God in Modern Jewish Thought
• God in Hassidut (traditional interpretations of spirituality and joy)

Come discover the many faces of the One who is beyond all words. No knowledge of Hebrew or experience necessary, bring your friends!

Vaad Shel Chesed Group Meeting and Study Session

The Vaad Shel Chesed is a community of people who care. We visit people, cook meals, and care for those in need of healing and would love for you to be part of our team!
Together we will study what our tradition has to teach us as well as learn some practical tips about how to comfort people. We meet the second sunday, every other month in the library from 11:00am-12:15pm
