Rabbi Isaak Education
5768….This Year In Jerusalem
Israel Trip, 2008
Tuesday, April 29 - Wednesday, May 14
Rabbi Daniel and Carol Isaak invite Neveh Shalom members and their friends to travel to Israel to share in the celebration of Israel’s 60th Independence Day. Our reservations are aboard Lufthansa, the shortest flying time between PDX and the new Ben Gurion Airport. Upon arrival we will meet our expert guide and driver who will take us immediately to Jerusalem where we will spend the first 6 nights, experiencing old and new: the Western Wall and the breathtaking excavations undertaken in the area, the rebuilt Jewish Quarter, the newly renovated Holocaust memorial at Yad Vashem, the Knesset, and Mt. Herzl. On our way to the Dead Sea and Herod’s fortress at Massada we will visit Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered and the oasis at Ein Gedi. Visiting Israel’s Air Force Museum will set us in the mood for the music, dancing and fireworks on the streets in Tel Aviv on the eve of Independence Day. Our tour will include the new discoveries at Caesarea, Israeli arts and crafts, Jaffa, Zippori, the Golan Heights, Gamla, home hospitality in a Druse village, Safed and much more. We will return to Tel Aviv to experience the city that doesn’t sleep prior to heading to our early morning return flight.
Included: Round trip airfare, deluxe accommodations, touring in a luxury, air-conditioned bus with a licensed guide, site entrances per our itinerary, expert speakers, all breakfasts and other meals as well, portage at the airport and hotels and tips to guide and driver. Cost: $3725/person, double occupancy.
Anyone interested must contact Rabbi Isaak a.s.a.p.
