The Intensive Hebrew students in 3rd and 4th grades will engage in Hebrew speaking, reading and writing through a wide variety of activities, including music, movement, games conversation and active play. The curriculum will be thematically based and include an exploration of t'fillah, tanakh, and holidays. Students in the Intensive Hebrew track will be expected to recognize, blend and decode all Hebrew letters and vowels. Classes will be held Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 4:15-5:45pm and on Sunday mornings will join together with their grade level classmates. They may opt to enroll in the Saturday morning Shabbat program for 3rd-5th grades in place of Sunday classes.
