Hebrew school

The Hebrew School serves students in 3rd through 6th Grades. All grades meet on Sunday mornings during the school year from 9:00am to 12 noon and an additional two days during the week, usually Mondays and Wednesdays OR Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:15 to 5:45pm. Studies include modern Hebrew, holidays, bible, prayer, mitzvoth and Israel.

The Intensive Hebrew students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades will engage in Hebrew speaking, reading and writing through a wide variety of activities, including music, movement, games conversation and active play. The curriculum will be thematically based and include an exploration of t'fillah, tanakh, and holidays. Students in the Intensive Hebrew track will be expected to recognize, blend and decode all Hebrew letters and vowels. Classes will be held Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 4:15-5:45pm and on Sunday mornings will join together with their grade level classmates.
