The Foundation School, based on the ideals and traditions of the Jewish faith and open to all, is dedicated to providing exceptional early childhood education. We encourage the development of each child’s creativity, curiosity, and character through age-appropriate practices. By valuing play as a child’s natural way of learning, our qualified and experienced teachers encourage the growth of the total child; intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual.
- Small class sizes that allow each child to set his/her own pace.
- Students celebrate Shabbat weekly, as well as all Jewish holidays and festivals. Hebrew vocabulary is blended into all learning experiences.
- Each classroom allows students experiential opportunities in music, manipulative and sensory materials, block play, creative drama and imaginary play, science discovery, and group and individual pursuits.

Transitional 2s Class - New for 2014-15 School Year!
Our nurturing and dynamic program will help your toddler develop the confidence
and skills needed for preschool while gently separating from you. Your toddler will be encouraged to make new friends, enjoy music, crafts and holiday celebrations, and sing and dance while enhancing balance and coordination, exploring and having fun in our playground and play area, engaging in active and imaginative play, cooking together, and celebrating Jewish traditions and values. By the end of the year, children will be ready to navigate the world of preschool on their own, utilizing the confidence and skills they have developed along the way. A parent or caregiver must stay with each child until teacher determines that separation is completed.
