Men's Club

Interesting speakers, mitzvah opportunities, community activities, social events! Join the fun & make some new friends! Men’s Club of Neveh Shalom is an easy way to get together with other members of the congregation, schmooze, learn, nosh, have some fun and share interesting ideas. While our programs primarily target the male membership of the synagogue, women are certainly welcome to attend our programs.Ramona Falls Hike

  • Fundraising for synagogue and youth education

Men’s club also constructs the congregational Sukkah, sponsors Yom HaShoah programming, and volunteers with other organizations such as the Oregon Food Bank. In conjunction with the Sisterhood (Women’s League) we also provide gifts to our Bar/Bat Mitzvah youth.


Men's Club Upcoming Events:

Sunday, October 12, at 9:40 a.m -  Men’s Club and Sisterhood will co-sponsor a brunch presentation by Rabbi Posen on “Torah for Real Life.”  The meeting will be in the Stampfer Chapel

Sunday, October 5th & Sunday, October 19th: The construction and breaking down of the Sukkah in the courtyard, and volunteers are needed. If you are interested, please contact Peter Wigmore for more details.


Tuesday,October 21, 7p.m., Stampfer Chapel - A presentation on "The Pros and Cons of  GMOs and of GMO Labeling” given by Dr. Victor Raboy, PhD who is a Research Geneticist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Research Service in Aberdeen, Idaho.  This event is sponsored by CNS’s Men’s Club. More info here.
