| Shomrei Teva See full details on our webpage! |
Shomrei Teva is Neveh Shalom's environmental conscience. We base our actions on Torah and Talmud as we strive to inspire congregants to take responsibility for God's creation. Projects and activities include restoration of the creek side next to Neveh Shalom, regular articles for the Chronicle, Gan Tikvah - Neveh Shalom's on-site vegetable garden, a goal of zero food waste at the synagogue, and the annual Tu B'Shvat Seder. We have partnered with other faith-based environmental groups, national Jewish groups (COEJL, Hazon, and Teva), other congregations (Jewish and other) and our own Neveh Shalom religious school.
